



The first two photos are of my Great Aunt Mary's hand pieced Hexagon Quilt or Honeycomb Quilt. I just love it but it's too fragile to use routinely. So, I made my own version of it using 1930's vintage reproduction fabrics. The last two photos show my version of the quilt. All the hexagons are hand cut and hand pieced. I haven't quilted it yet but I have the backing fabric for it. Just waiting for the right time to put it together.
